AITEMIN took part in a successful entrepreneurial R&D valorisation case selected by COTEC in its recently published report “Entrepreneurial R&D valorisation cases”.

The project was carried out by EINSA, a Spanish company established in Madrid, and the aim was the adaptation of an aviation land support vehicle, flameproof version, for its use in explosive environments.

AITEMIN provided the needed support for engineering components and flameproof electrical systems, especially in the development of electronic barriers and encapsulated electrovalves as well as in the testing of the principal flameproof components.

After this project, EINSA signed a contract with the Royal Air Force, RAF, for the supply of the logistic system for principal load for all its fighter planes.
