AITEMIN operates the Barredo Experimentation Center through a cooperation agreement with the Barredo Foundation, it is located in the facilities of the old Barredo Pit in Mieres (Asturias) and its activities are aimed towards undertaking investigation, training and education work for the mining sector, dealing basically in the subjects associated with safety and risk prevention.
