| Descripción: | The projects objective is to carry out real scale fire simulations in tunnels to obtain data relevant to analyze the existing safety criteria and requirements and determine how appropriate they are, and if needed provide more realistic criteria. This data will also be used to validate computer fire models based on tools such as the CFD. |

The role of AITEMIN in the project relates to improving the shotcreting technique, dimensional metrology methods in underground construction sites and certain aspects that pertain to worker safety. |
